Overview
The Executive Director of SOYAL, Mr. Anas Abdinasir Abdirahman, paid an official
courtesy visit to the office of the Commissioner of Warta Nabadda District, Mr. Liiban Ali
Mohamed, on 28 October 2025. The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation between the
district administration and youth-led organizations to advance priorities related to youth
engagement, peacebuilding, climate action, and community security.

During the meeting, both leaders emphasized the importance of empowering young people to

Mr. Anas Abdinasir Abdirahman highlighted SOYAL’s commitment to working closely with

District Commissioner Liiban Ali Mohamed welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed the
district administration’s support for efforts that strengthen youth involvement and contribute
to peace, security, and climate resilience in Mogadishu.
